I think I have made great improvement on my eye contact with the audience. I know there is still much room for improvement, but from my first to second speech I feel I did much better. For my next speech, I would like to improve on eye contact even more, and my stance at the podium. The last speech was sort of a comical one so I felt really relaxed which may have been the cause for the slouching. I can help my eye contact by not having any note cards so therefore I have no reason to look down.

Improvements I Would Like to See

Helpful Hints From Allen :)
Honestly I learned my speeches whenever I was typing them out and especially when we had to do the outlines. Copying and pasting them sentence by sentence really drilled them into my head. Some of the best techniques I used were just printing out the speeches and keeping them with me at all times so whenever I had any free time I could practice. All the practicing I really did was mostly in class when we read them with a partner. The best tip I can give is read your speech on a daily basis so you don't forget it.

Life
Plain and simple life is whatever you want to make out of it
You have to take any opportunity you get and run with it
Life is too long for the timid, but too short for the loved
You can't live life with regrets wondering how thing could, should, or would have been
If you want something, you must try, and if you happen to fail, don't give up
All I'm saying is you gotta risk it to get the biscuit
Live life to the fullest, make it what you want it to be not what others think it should be
In the words of Allen Clements "You Gotta Live It Up"!

child book
Our book is a classic story about a neighborhood witch. Bobby is a kid that lives in the neighborhood and he thinks that all of his friends are being turned into animals by a crazy old lady. One day his parents make him go and talk to the mysterious Mrs. Graves. She turns out to be a nice old lady. In the end Bobby and Mrs. Graves get along and the rumors about her being a witch are gone out the window.

Step Brothers
Step Brothers is a perfect ten in my book. The circumstances of this movie are unlikely which is what makes it funny. I absolutely loved this movie. Will Ferrel teamed up with John C. Reilly, you can't really go wrong with those two.
The movie is about two middled aged men Brennan Huff (Ferrel) and Dale Doback (Reilly) that still live with there parents. Both parents happen to be single and meet each other at a business conference. They fall in love and get married. The two families move in with each other, they become step brothers, and the war begins. From the very beginning they refuse to get along. They fight at dinner and Doback makes rude comments about Brennan's mom. They fight in there sleep and when they are awake.
The part that breaks the whole movie open is when Brennan touches Dale's sacred drum set. They get in a huge fight and the neighbors have to call there parents. When there parent's get home both of them are grounded. The brothers direct there anger towards their parents and away from each other. Then they become best friends. They do everything together even go to job interviews as “one”.
There parents end up not really liking them because Brennan has a super rich and successful brother. He practically splits up the family but Dale and Brennan try to salvage it by making a music business called Premier World Wide. It actually makes it worse because they wreck there dad's boat while filming a music video. They both get kicked out and the parents split up and there is only one way to try to fix things.... the Catalina Wine Mixer.
